We will let our members know of new dates as they are confirmed.
Observation Apiary Visits 2021.
We are offering a series of of Observation Apiary Visits for new or inexperienced beekeepers on each Saturday between 1100 and 1300 through April to July.
The visits are to an Apiary near Launceston run by our former chair, a highly experienced beekeeper. They provide the opportunity to see hives develop through the busiest part of the year and seek guidance and advice.
Numbers are limited to 5 attendees.
For LBG members we use Eventbrite as the method to book.
If numbers allow, the sessions are open to prospective members of the LBG and general members of public who want a "taste" of beekeeping.
Attendance is strictly by booking only and subject to the prevailing Covid rules.
As a non member to book please contact us on email@example.com e-mail address.
There is a nominal charge of £2 per visit. With all payments going to LBG funds.
